Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1607 Office Pro 2013 (original ISO) I had to rebuild this system (build 1500) because of a bad HDD that had office program files on it. I removed the HDD and did a successful Office 2013 Pro install onto the c Drive (480GB SSD). Office 2013 Pro was working on a C drive only system. I deleted the partition of the corrupted HDD (1TB) and re-installed a nd created a brand new partition. During updates the system moved to the 1607 build. Office got caught in a 'install loop' of foreign proofing.

Windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1511 I then went to the Build 1607 system and located all TEMP & tmp folders. Ran the same DVD and just as soon as it goes to install (via fuel gauge), unexpected error & close. I looked in all TEMP & tmp folders and no Microsoft Office Setuo.txt files created. I examined MSOCache and the files for install are all there (from yesterday when I tried). I was able to locates setupexe.txt for Office 2013 in the logged on users local app data. They were having a problem and I checked the second HDD and found it 'Deny Access'. All permissions were gone. He does not know how. I removed the HDD to another system as an attached USB drive and rebuilt enough access to copy data files. I then deleted the partition ands rebuilt the volume.

My first posted noted that I successfully installed Office 2013 Pro in Build 1510. This system has my administrator account and 3 grandkids accounts (ages 12,14,17). The corruption I mentioned later was that Office would not pen in the Build 1510 BEFORE I corrected the HHD drive and cleaned out the registry. That is when I installed Office 2013 Pro AND verified each account could open and use Office. Then the system migrated to Build 1607, successfully. When I went to open office in a child's account, I got a 'install translation function' and the install did not work.
